Canonical is excited to announce that WANdisco has joined the Charm Partner Programme (CPP). Canonical’s CPP helps solution providers get the best use of Canonical’s universal service modeling tool, Juju, enabling instant workload deployment, integration and scaling with a click of a mouse. The Juju Charm Store has over 300 cloud based applications ready to be used on most public and private clouds, as well as bare metal servers.

WANdisco will be charming their Fusion Platform, which delivers core functionality supporting continuous availability and performance. Fusion guarantees data consistency across Hadoop clusters deployed on any combination of distributions, Hadoop compatible storage systems or cloud environments any distance apart.

“The WANdisco Fusion platform is a great fit for Canonical’s Charm Partner Program and we are thrilled to be a part of it,” said Jim Campigli, Co-founder and Chief Product Officer at WANdisco. “The Canonical Charms/Juju marketplace will help us reach out to potential customers deploying Hadoop on-premise, in the cloud, or in hybrid environments with a plug-and-play solution that will have them up and running across all their locations in minutes.”

“WANdisco Fusion Platform standardizes the relationship between Hadoop and the rest of the world,” said Stefan Johannson, Director of Global Software Alliances at Canonical. “Having this ability in our Charm ecosystem will enable Juju users to plug directly into the rest of the Hadoop ecosystem.”
