UK Government issues Ubuntu 14.04 LTS Security Guidance

CESG, the National Technical Authority for Information Assurance (IA) within the UK Government, have released their End User Devices Guidance for Ubuntu 14.04 LTS.

While primarily aimed at government institutions working with information at the OFFICIAL security classification, this security guidance is based around providing realistic and informed guidance on enterprise platform security measures.

It is targeted at both business decision-makers and technical administrators, while allowing them the flexibility to make security decisions based on their risk-appetite.

More information about the End User Devices Guidance may be found at GOV.UK Device Guidance pages.
