Ubuntu Server development summary – 15 May 2018


The purpose of this communication is to provide a status update and highlights for any interesting subjects from the Ubuntu Server Team. cloud-init

  • Competed SRU for 18.2.4 to Ubuntu Xenial and Artful
  • SmartOS configure nics which do not surface addr_assign_type info in /sys
  • Fix ds-identify to avoid duplicate config checks for IBMCloud enabled
  • ds-identify: make shellcheck 0.4.6 happy with ds-identify
  • cloud-config.service: run After snap.seeded.service
  • CI integration test fixes for Ubuntu Bionic
  • Do not rely on host /proc/cmdline in test_net.py from Lars Kellogg-Stedman (LP: #1769952)
