A while back we linked [a video](http://design.canonical.com/2010/04/curious-displays/) which explored organic displays, screens composed by “smart”, independent and moving pixels.

The concept of “invisible” computers embedded in tiny units able to coordinate themselves for a bigger result is definitely fascinating. Today I saw this other inspiring project:

It is quite similar to [Siftables](http://www.ted.com/talks/david_merrill_demos_siftables_the_smart_blocks.html) but the dominos attracted me more because the possibility of being mixed with normal, not smart, blocks.

Kudos to [Arduino](http://arduino.cc/) for enabling this experimentation.
