Since then [Ubuntu 20.04 on WSL 2 has arrived](https://ubuntu.com/blog/ubuntu-on-wsl-2-is-generally-available) and [support for AI/ML workloads](https://ubuntu.com/blog/getting-started-with-cuda-on-ubuntu-on-wsl-2) is available in Windows Insiders. With WSL growing, WSLConf community organizers did not want to wait another year to gather the community together. WSLConf is returning in September 2020 in virtual form, as [microWSLConf](https://www.wslconf.dev/). microWSLConf will feature a virtual hallway track for unscheduled conversations by attendees and breakout sessions for affinity groups.
