The session will be “Challenges in Innovating Mobile Devices and Wearables”, and is sponsored by Canonical. The development cycle for robust operating systems and hardware is not just a simple two-week cycle for updates. Mobile Monday will ask the experts to share the challenges they face when innovating in a competitive, high-stakes industry. The panel will be led by Victor Brilon, a product-focused entrepreneur with experiences in the telco and consumer electronics industries. Canonical’s community manager Jono Bacon will join the panelists, alongside experts from ZTE, BlackBerry, BASIS Science and a mobile operator (tbc). Visitors will get the chance to network with Canonical experts, hear more about the Ubuntu Edge campaign, and see Ubuntu running live on mobiles.
