Is that bad news? Quite the opposite! According to [CNCF](https://www.cncf.io/), this year’s KubeCon EU – the first KubeCon to ever be hosted virtually –  made it possible for over 18,700 Kubeheads to sign up,  72% of which were first-time KubeCon + CloudNativeCon attendees. In other words, as we have all believed for so many years now, tech is helping the community grow and get closer. So the time is approaching fast for our second virtual KubeCon, this time addressing the US, and we couldn’t be more excited! A little birdie told us the organisers are planning heaps of new things for this KubeCon, and of course so are we. This gives MicroK8s the added benefit of full resilience for production workloads in cloud and server deployments.
